Revenue Accounting is the collective designation for PayEx’s Billing service that delivers accounting files containing postings and other financial values linked to invoices and credit invoices created in Billing and booked into the general ledger.

In addition to the accounting files for invoicing, the term Revenue Accounting also includes accrual reports. At each month‑end, the Company receives reports on:

• Prepaid revenue – revenue collected in advance but not yet earned

• Accrued revenue– revenue that has been earned but not yet invoiced

These reports help ensure accurate financial reporting and proper matching of revenue to the correct accounting period.
